Hi! My name is Kristin and I inherited a love of cooking from my Dad's side of the family. However, I have an unusually strong sense of taste from my mom's side of the family, so I'm a very picky eater. After living in the US most of my life and in South Korea for almost 4 years, I now cook on a regular basis for my Indian sweetheart, Sourav, and myself. My cooking has developed into a complex fusion of American, Mexican, Italian, Korean, and Indian, and continues to morph into fun and new things. Almost all of these fun and new things are picky eater approved, and I cook a lot of vegetarian things because Sourav is a vegetarian on Mondays. It's a family thing.
Most of what I cook is pretty healthy. I use extra virgin olive oil or soybean oil, or find a way around using oil at all by using water, wine, or even tea creatively. I use almost no cheese.
